T O O N S
cartoons at this junction of my life are my most valued medium. many of my most ambitious projects of my artistic career have been cartoons, like lesbian dogwood and the disaster life thereof: part 1 and koopal0vr plays: super mario 64 episode 30 and the as of yet unfinished DURT and lesbian dogwood and the disaster life thereof: part 2. all of those cartoons are a part of the THIS IS MY DISASTER. series, which you can find more detail about eventually somewhere o_0???
cartoons have become a major source of success for me both at a personal and at an audience level. as someone who hops around from medium to medium a lot, cartoons are a wonderful thing because it's basically every digital medium smooshed together! it feels like a completely infinite medium to me which is endlessly exciting. i have also found the american indie cartoon scene to be perhaps the kindest and most friendly and wonderful community i've encountered in my many years of being a art scene nomad which makes the pursuit all the more encouraging!
my illustrative style is very loose and expressive and my cartooning style is very worbly and surreal and effects heavy. i'm multimedia in my approach but the bulk of my work uses only a pirated copy of adobe premiere, a pirated copy of adobe photoshop, and MS paint!

k;i//'s mother is the leader of a suicide cult who brings about the end of humanity by awakening a dragon in the center of Jupiter that will turn everyone into trees. with the final ceremony successful and every cult member dead, humanity has 24 hours until its inevitable demise and k;i// is the only person alive who knows. although this film's production is on pause temporarily, it will be by far my most ambitious project yet and possibly my final cartoon for the forseeable future.

made this as a segment for the hellavision television 'the guy' film. this is a very brief excersize in pushing myself technically as an animator in just about every facet. i love the flying squirrel friend =)

this is part 1 of my first feature length film undertaking and my greatest creative achievement as of its release. it's based off my unfinished book called THIS IS MY DISASTER., and follows the mysterious lesbian dogwood, a nomadic homunculus ranger who roams the barren, dilapidated wastelands of neo kansas city 2. they barely survive every day and make friends and stuff and nothing really important happens.

a cartoon i made in my newfound burst of creative freedom. a part of a series of shorts i made leading up to my more ambitious projects. it's small, but it's indicative of an era of my life where i was very excitedly finding my creative voice and i'm very proud of it!

probably the most vital turning point in my creative career. it's stupid to say, but i made this while high and created something with a newfound sense of freedom and looseness that i had yet to attain up until this point with my animation. it's a silly little toon, but its fluidity and structurelessness paired with its minimal approach would be the groundwork for every animation i've made since.

a surrealist furry animation created based off of a dream, one involving "elon musk's spirit world" but i didn't include that lol. it's about a despondent little cat who is mourning something lost, or perhaps something that was never there. there's a lot of sadness and loneliness in this story, it comes from a difficult time but it's the most technical my animation has been up until that point. sat unfinished for over a year but finally finished in january of 2023.

a project max and i had in the works for months, and an idea i've had for almost exactly a year up until the release. there was a second episode/sequel planned, but it's been on the back burner ever since like early 2021.

this cartoon was made to be watched on mobile devices. i made this cartoon with the intent of pulling as much as i could from intrinsic creativity, that is embracing in full qualities of my art that i believe to be the least derivative. this video set the precedent for my animation style and for that it's very special to me! :)
