i love mash ups!!! i think they are so fun and silly! i grew up making a lot of soundclown stuff and that has for sure influenced my art even now. a lot of these mashups are of relatively niche musical interests: butthole surfers, the gerogerigegege, cboyardee. i like combining these things with other songs, especially pop tunes.

i think a lot of music can sometimes get taken too seriously. especially in internet music communities, people can be really judgemental and gatekeepy about music, oftentimes even going as far as to insult someone's character due to their music taste! i think this is silly. idk if this ties into this album but in my head it makes sense to put that here.

i think this album is very inconsistent, like track 4 is such a silly little goof compared to some of the more robust songs hahaha. but ay! i think it's a silly enough ride that it's worth keeping publicly accessible for the time being :p
