i wouldn't say the artwork on this page is anywhere near representative of the version of myself who is sitting here archiving it. at this time, i was going to art school and my art was very rigid and formal. my artistic scope was very limited due to my upbringing and not having the knowledge or resources available to truly explore what art means to me and why it is that i make it. i think my art in 2020 is far more appropriate to compare to the following years, but i lumped it into this page because there isn't a lot of it. i'm keeping the following pieces public not just because a part of me still enjoys them moderately, but i think it's interesting context for the greater picture of my artistic evolution.
